Feeling confused, frazzeled, irritated, angry, sad, eager to blame others. These are all states of being that can be soothed with meditation.
What is meditation? Meditation is stilling the mind.
How can we meditate?
There are many ways
One way is to sit still, close our eyes, and observe our breath. Do not modify or try to control the breath. Simply observe it. Notice it.
What is the length? What is the texture of the breath?
Continue to sit still and observe the breath. When our focus wanders, and it will, bring the awareness back to the breath.
Start easy with 3 minutes and over time work your way up to 15 minutes. Morning and before bed are great times to meditate.
