It’s cold season and it seems everyone is coming down with something. Here are some tips we follow to stay healthy and reduce downtime.
- Stay warm – Cold symptoms seem to increase when we are cold. Take a warm shower or wear warm clothes to reduce the chance of developing symptoms
- Drink more water – water flushes toxins from our body. Drink some extra water to flush out extra toxins.
Tip: Add fresh squeezed lemon to our water for an extra medicinal boost
- Eat more citrus – Citrus fruit, such as oranges or tangerines, naturally contain vitamin C. Vitamin C reduces inflammation, aches, mucous, and more.
- Get extra rest – Our bodies heal best when they rest. Maybe take an extra nap or go to bed a little early.
