Many people ask me how I eat enough protein as a vegetarian 6’6 male who practices yogic bodyweight exercises and hand balancing daily.
A complete protein is a protein that contains all 9 essential amino acids. Essential amino acids are amino acids that are body does not produce on it’s own. We get them by eating them.
Here is a list of some of my favorite sources of protein
- Quinoa – a grain that can be eaten in place of rice and prepared in the same way
- Chia seeds – get a
- Beans and rice – mixed together are a complete protein. Much of the world eats this
- Hummus and sourdough
- Hemp seeds
