Combine the following ingredients for a healthy vegetarian, organic meal. These ingredients can be combined on a bed of leafy greens such as arugula or spinach to make a salad, on a bed of rice or quinoa as a bowl, or as a wrap using a tortilla or flat bread. Make sure all ingredients are non GMO or organic. I like to buy my veggies at the local Farmer’s Market to support the farmers as well as have fresh, local, seasonal veggies!
- Lentils and quinoa or any rice and any bean
- Add any seasonal veggies (some of our favorites are mushrooms, tomatoes, olives, beets, artichoke hearts, carrots)
- Sesame oil
- Apple Cider vinegar
- mineral salt
- black pepper – (reduces gas and anti oxidants
- garlic powder – pre and pro biotic
prebiotic is food for the vitamin excreting bacteria in our system. Probiotic are the vitamin excreting bacteria that live in us and help keep our immune system strong.
Antibiotics kill bacteria.
